Joel Kirsch is U.S. Chief Regulatory Counsel and Compliance Officer for the Americas. In that role, he is responsible for U.S. government regulatory interactions and the operations of the Americas Compliance Organization.
In his more than 25 years with Siemens, he has held numerous leadership roles in the Legal and Compliance Department, including U.S. Head of Litigation and Head of Investigations and Regulatory for the Americas. Between 2006 and 2008, Kirsch played a key role in the company’s global corruption remediation efforts that the Department of Justice called “extraordinary.”
Before joining Siemens, Kirsch was an attorney at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler in New York, a trial attorney for the Department of Justice through the Honors Programs, and a law clerk for Louis C. Bechtle, the then-Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Kirsch is a graduate of Penn State University and Temple University School of Law.
